Anche loro pare siano allo stadio delle supposizioni! L'unico tizio che sembra aver risolto ha postato quanto segue:
OK guys- I have some good news on this.
After purchasing an 08 K12S with about 300 miles on it, (used, 1 owner, from Max BMW Dealer in upstate NY)- I started having the classic stalling symptoms mentioned here. Most typically, it was during a roll to a stop as I was downshifting near idle. The bike performed well in other regards, and I did not have the "freeway stalling" unless I pulled the clutch in at higher speeds and held it in for a moment. It never actually quit while I was in gear and underway.
2 diligent trips back to the dealer seems to have solved it. They found that a seal or some kind of "rubber piece" near the airbox had worked loose- or was never connected correctly at the factory. I admit that I did not get a detailed explanation- but all parties are thrilled so far that their troubleshooting worked.
So, if you are suffering from this problem, I would have the dealer carefully check all of the seals and connections downstream of the airbox. Apparently, it disrupts the metering in the fuel system- causing the annoying/unsafe problem. Lets hope that sovled it and it helps you...
