thank for your request Tune-Up Eprom for R1150GS/R, it will fit's your bike
perfect. It works very well and is many times times in use.
The installation is problem free, of course you get installation notes in the
detail with pic's.
The chip contains 8 different program.
All easy to switch from the coding plug within the fusebox.
It exist 3 type of Motronik:
Type 1: 1998-1999 (the change was in Febr.-May 2000, one must check the Motronik
number)
Type 2: 2000-2002 single spark
Type 3: 2003-2005 double ignition
Program list for TuneUp-Eprom Type 1+2:
P1: Stage 2 with or w/o cat, aftermarket endmuffler, street legal, limiter 8200rpm
P2: Stage 1 stock engine even with K&N Filter, limiter 8200rpm
P3: Stage 3 with or w/o cat, aftermarket end muffler - racing muffler, limiter
8300rpm
P4: Stage 2-3 as before but for use of low octane gas ROZ91, limiter 8200rpm
P5: Stage 1 as before but for use of low octane gas ROZ91, limiter 7900rpm
P6: Stage 4a for use of Pistons HC, UNI/HiLift cams, 8400rpm, Version 1
P7: Stage 4b for use of Pistons HC, UNI/HiLift cams, 8400rpm,Version 2 (richer mix)
P8: Stage 1-3 as before but for use of gasoline with extreme low octane numbers,
limiter 7900rpm
Program list for TuneUp-Eprom Type 3 (double ignition):
P1: Stage 2 for connection tube w/o cat. with stock end-muffler or other
aftermarket with db-killer inside, 8200 rpm
P2: Stage 1 Stock engine, even with K&N Filter, limiter 8200 rpm
P3: Stage 3 for connection tube, w/o cat. open endmuffler, racing type, 8300 rpm
P4: Stage 2 as before, but for use of low octane ROZ91 gasoline, 7900 rpm
P5: Stage 1 for use of low octane ROZ91 gasoline, 7900 rpm
P6: Stage 3 for use of low octane ROZ91 gasoline,or with UNI cams, 8300 rpm
P7: Stage 4a with UNI/HiLift cams, pistons high compression 8400 rpm
P8: Stage 4b as before with richer mix, or in case of problems with engine
ringing 8400 rpm
The programs for low octane have reduced ignition advance, these may also be used
for engines with high compression pistons, if a ringing problem exist.
