Oggi un breve ma spettacolare tour dall'hotel al ghiacciaio Kaunertal. Come molte strade di alta montagna, anche questa è soggetta a pedaggio. E per quei soldi ci sarebbe piaciuto avere un nuovo asfalto. A volte il tutto è un po' accidentato. Il viaggio è arrivato fino a 2750 m: l'unico modo per salire più in alto era con la cabinovia e questo avrebbe superato il nostro budget. Se volete godervi il fantastico panorama vi consigliamo di dare un'occhiata alle varie WEBCAM durante la giornata (ora locale). Google aiuta molto qui. Dopo un carico di “hot love” (gelato alla vaniglia con lamponi caldi) siamo tornati in albergo.

Today a short but spectacular tour from the hotel to the Kaunertal Glacier. Like many high mountain roads, this one is also subject to tolls. And for the money, we would have liked a new asphalt surface. In places, the whole thing is a bit bumpy. The ride went up to 2750 m - the only way to go higher is by gondola and would have stretched our budget. If you want to enjoy the fantastic view, you should look at the various WEBCAMS during the day (local time). Google is very helpful here. After a load of "hot love" (vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries), we headed back to the hotel.

Heute eine kurze aber spektakuläre Tour vom Hotel aus zum Kaunertaler Gletscher. Wie viele Hochgebirgstrassen ist auch diese mautpflichtig. Und für das Geld hätten wir uns mal eine neue Asphaltdecke gewünscht. Streckenweise ist das ganze halt doch etwas buckelig. Die Fahrt ging bis auf 2750 m hinaus - Höher geht dann nur noch mit der Gondel und hätte unser Budget überstrapaziert. Wer die phantastische Aussicht geniessen möchte sollte sich tagsüber (Ortszeit) die verschiedenen WEBCAMS ansehen. Google hilft hier sehr. Nach einer Ladung "heisse Liebe" (Vanille-Eis mit heissen Himbeeren) ging es dann schon wieder Richtung Hotel.
