The Quest 2 comes with City Select NT maps pre-loaded and does also come with City Navigator maps for use on the PC! So, planning a route can be done on the Quest2 and on the PC, just like with the Quest 1. Note: if you don't got the PC software when purchasing a Quest 2, ask Garmin for it. The earlier Quest 2's didn't have the PC software by default.
