Ho trovato la risposta "ufficiale" sul sito Touratech USA che riporta informazioni decisamente diverse da quello italiano... sembrerebbe addirittura che l'accessorio non sia compatibile con i modelli da 2008 in poi...

Ecco cosa scrivono:

CNC Aluminum replacement for the OEM windscreen mounting parts.

NOTE: This replacement is highly recommended for 2005 R1200GS which had plastic widscreen mounting parts. Later R1200GS have aluminum parts and replacement with our CNC parts for these later models is by personal preference.
The plastic supports of the windscreen can easily break off in a simple fall. This is prevented with the Windscreen Hard Part. Machined aluminum and then clear anodized. Installation is simple and takes only a few minutes using the original screws. Be sure to install them before you lose your original screws.
Aluminum parts are recommended for use with Windscreen Spoilers 044-0410 or 044-0412.

Highly recommended for 2005 R1200GS
Not needed on models with metal OEM mounting parts
DOES NOT FIT 2008 or newer bikes
