Hi Ferdinando,

I actually own the D-System D-Dry jacket, the predecessor to the Evo System D-Dry jacket. The D-System jacket also has removable sleeves which leave a large opening by the armpits. For me, this has not been an issue as I am using this jacket as my in-between (before I wear mesh in the summer and before I stop riding in the winter). I have only used the jacket once in the rain, and really would not recommend it for daily use if you live in a rainy climate for the exact reason you are concerned with. For me though, the many vents (including the arm pit openings) provide a lot of needed ventilation - as the jacket is warm enough with the liner in place - again, I would look to another jacket if you consistently ride in temperatures below 30 degrees.

All that said, I did wear the jacket all day yesterday in temps that ranged from 80 degrees down to around 60 - cruising at 30mph up to highway speeds of 75+ - and was extremely happy with how the jacket performed.
Hope this helps,

Ryan
