scusate ancora il cross posting

We have had a response from our dealer who claim they have sent a request for explanation to BMW UK. This is called a “Puma” request. It can take any amount of time to get an answer as it is considered non-urgent and not a safety issue. For example a motorcycle that had cut out around the Wainscot (in the South East UK) bypass whilst at full tilt warranted a “Tiger” request but has still not had a reply. From what we understand Puma is less important than Tiger to BMW (Animal hierarchy I guess) So, we will probably never have a reply. I wonder what the highest "animal" request is? A charging Rhinocerous perhaps?
Agree with the general consensus of this forum and also the I-BMW forum who have also been following this that the marks are deliberate and nothing to worry about

David, I believe the highest request level is "MadPete coming to kick dealer's arse so hard his boot will appear out said dealer's mouth!"
I guess that would illicit the requisite response!
Illuvatar.....can't be alignment, they vary in size and shape from bike to bike, plus they've cast holes on the forks that could be used for alignment! Maybe it's "Bring your child to work day" and they let their kids loose with a grinder. Mine are ground beautifully, but David's (who started this off) looked like they were wear marks.
