To Your question. Yes, the rules for winter-tires in Germany is be changed. I Snow, Ice or any thing else on the street, you must have winter-tires. You must have winter-tires if is possible you get snow during the trip. For the Police is important to make a decision is the weather forecast. If you get a ticket if you have now Winter-Tires and you have snow or Ice you have to pay 40 Euro. In case of a accident you have to pay 80 Euro.
The law self is not 100 percent clear if winter-tires for motorcycle a must. We have wrote to the Government, but we get no answer at this time.
