New EVO brake with 15–20 per cent more power. Handbrake operation forces down by approximately 50 per cent. This new front wheel brake featuring two larger brake discs (320 mm/12.6" in diameter) increases brake forces by 15 – 20 per cent, depending on the model. At the same time the forces required for operating the handbrake in order to achieve the same brake power are down by approximately 15 per cent, meaning that in combination with the brake servo the manual forces required from the rider are about 50 per cent lower, making the entire brake system extremely comfortable, effective and pleasant to use. Further advantages of the EVO brake are that the sintered metal linings offer approximately 50 per cent greater durability and the stability of the pressure point is up by about 50 per cent. Last but not least, the entire system is about 10 per cent lighter, ensuring even better handling thanks to the lower unsprung masses on the front wheel.
