Handiness *: needed guidance strength, in order to bring or in inclination and/or on the desired line hold the machine in inclination.

Guidance precision *: is tested in differently fast curves and gives information over it whether the motorcycle the desired course, which is given over guidance forces, follows or whether the line must be corrected.

Adhesion/curves *: side guidance in inclination on wet and dry roadway. This burr migration is always tested on a locked distance.

Adhesion/acceleration in curves *: side guidance and power transmission in differently fast curves, are likewise tested on wet roads and dryness.

Curve stability *: driving stability with fast driving along curves, in change curves and with bumps. With the relatively roughly formed Enduroreifen by the profiling and the Karkasskonstruktion one affects predominantly.

Frontier behavior *: controllableness of the tire in the frontier of the adhesion on wet and dry distance. Setting up inclination: a more or less strong guidance moment when braking in inclination wants the motorcycle up to put and must by a counter acting force at the steering wheel to become balanced.

Steering wheel-flutter (Shimmy): more or less strong torsional vibration of the front wheel suspension around the steering axle in the speed range between 60 and 90 km/h.

* A transferability of the test results on other motorcycles with similar chassis data as those the Honda Varadero 1000 is only conditionally possible with the criteria with small deviations, in the other criteria, marked by star.
