Grazie a tutti dei suggerimenti sulla base dei quali ho scritto alla persona interessata la seguente e-mail:

Dear Mr. Williams,

as you probably know selling a bike abroad means it has to be written off from the Italian Pubblic Register of Transports. This procedure is complex and definitive. In any case prior to proceed I need the bike to be fully paid in cash, I will then take care of the Italian procedure and of related costs, the following registration in your country will be under your full responsibility. When the Italian procedure is completed I’ll provide you the related documentation and the bike will be ready to be exported.
Be aware that this vehicle is probably not compliant with French regulations because it's power is over 100 hp. The firm price is €17.000.
If you wish to proceed on the deal and have the bike checked by somebody on your behalf I can be contacted either on my cell phone, +39 335334048, or by mail to set up a meeting. The bike will be visible in Cascina Costa di Samarate (VA) (the location is close to Malpensa airport) where my office is also located.
