"Let me explain what happened: I discovered it after removing a few parts
to inspect for further damage.
The chain snapped because the safety link wasn't properly
secured for the entire 5 months I've had the bike!
My mistake was neglecting to check its condition even once, assuming
it was fine since it looked almost new from the previous owner."
