Io mi faccio tutta la manutenzione da solo e la cura con cui una persona lavora sulla SUA moto non potrà mai essere raggiunta da nessun meccanico (a meno che non si parli di team racing dove i mecca sono pagati per dare al pilota moto "perfette").
Queste affermazioni fatte in un doc della Hall od Wisdom di ADVRIDER IMHO racchiudono l'essenza del fai da te.
è un estratto dal doc sulla regolazione gioco valvole e ho potuto provare quanto detto sulla mia pelle. Il ragazzino di turno del conce l'ultima volta che l'ho fatto fare ad altri aveva regolato le valvole (tutte e 8) a gioco zero stringendo a morte i controdadi dei registri
Why Bother???

Yes, your mechanic does adjust your valves for you, but he doesn’t (won’t, can’t) do it as well as you can.
You truly CAN and WILL give yourself a better valve job than your professional mechanic can offer you.
He have a clock to race, a profit to turn, and a line of customers to please.
You, on the other hand, have only your own sorry ass to please. And, we’re betting that unless your ass is hanging off the back of JLo or Rabia, you’re probably the only one who cares enough about it to focus on superior tuning.
