as reported in todays motorcycle news bmw press officer juergen stoffregen has confirmed,there will be an f800gs, the belt drive will have to be changed as mud and dirt would ruin a belt drive,the. new 800gs will use the same frame as the first 800,s but there is no indication that the single sided swingarm will remain. the pic is clearly an mcn photoshop job ,but at least we now know for certain that there will be a new gs with the 800 engine and frame, i hope that they do not just try copy the boxer twin gs styling as in the pic, but come up with something better,and i hope that they can still use the single sided swingarm with a chain.
ps, the article also says that it will be shown at this years intermot bike show in october in cologne germany. i am off to book my ticket now :)

Dipendesse da me la farei:

- 190 kg in ordine di marcia

- 85 cv effettivi alla ruota

- buon riparo aerodinamico (come mi sembra abbia)

- dimensioni/volumi generosi (per me che sono una "bestia" di 1e88.....:lol: :lol: )

invece la 800r mi sembra troppo ingombrante alla vista
