RESET Centralina R1200R 2007
 

Buongiorno a tutti.

premetto che ho cercato in tante discussioni su questo forum ma, alla fine mi sono perso...

Ho una R1200R del 2007
come ho letto praticamente ovunque ho il classico problema su ABS
Ho trovato una azienda di Torino che me lo ricondiziona ad un prezzo più che competitivo, prima mi ha consigliato di resettare la centralina e di vedere se effettivamente il problema del ABS rimaneva.
Ho cercato La procedura MA… R1200R non ha il tasto ABS!
Quindi con il connettore sottosella il cavo verde e blu portato a Massa non posso eseguire la procedura di reset (così ho letto)
Qualcuno sa darmi un consiglio, o dove trovare la risposta?

Urca, da Racconigi a Massa avrai usato tanto di quel cavo che ti ci compravi una moto nuova....

Il reset può essere fatto con il software di diagnostica, o con il gs911 o Rheingold.
Però, e questo se non hai il sw lo puoi far verificare in Bmw con il loro, dovresti prima assicurarti che il problema non dipenda dal sensore posteriore, che può essere sostituito.
Prima però lo puoi ispezionare: sia il connettore sul sensore e poi smontarlo per controllare se è ok.

Ti giro la procedura che ho trovato sul forum del gs911.

Two other things you can check before replacing the sensor.

1. Follow the cabling you inspected earlier to where the plug is that plugs the sensor into the harness. Not exactly sure of your model, but it should be somewhere under the seat close to the rear upper shock mount and your preload adjuster.
Unplug it and make sure there is no corrosion on the contacts.

2. Remove the sensor from the Final Drive. You will need to remove the rear wheel to do so. There are 2 small torx screws, one holding the cable retainer and the other holding the sensor in place. You will have to remove both. Pull the sensor out of the FD, taking care not to loose the 0-ring or any shims that are installed. Inspect the end of the sensor. If it has a lot of what looks like iron filings on the end of the "magnetic tip", clean it all off and reinstall the sensor. Also inspect the cable where it is held in place by the retainer for damage.

Having said all that, if you do have what looks like a Christmas tree of iron filings on the end of the sensor, you have another rather serious and expensive issue. Any bits of metal adhering to the end of the sensor would indicate that one of the internal bearings in the FD is busy failing, and I would have that attended to ASAP.
