It is only compatible with lead acid and AGM batteries. Some batteries that are listed gel or also consider AGM. You will want to check with BMW to see what they recommend.

We private label the single out put Battery Tender Plus for BMW. The 4 bank is that same exact charger but have 4 separate ones in the same unit.
Do they tell you what type of battery their battery is? AGM, lead acid or gel? If it is one of those type batteries then the 4 bank will work. If they will warranty your battery if you use or charger then that would be your answer. They are the ones who hold your battery warranty.
